Good to know

After a day of hiking or sightseeing activities, you will appreciate all the amenities of this Non-Smoking one level home such as central heat and air conditioning, wood floors throughout, stone gas fireplace, refrigerator, ice maker, electric oven/stove, microwave and full-size washer and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen also includes everything you would need for a nice family dinner. You can enjoy a cup of coffee and a biscotti, that is provided, as you wake up to the view of the wonderful mountains. Besides relaxing in the great room, which has lots of windows to enjoy the view, you may want to enjoy the smart TV (60") for streaming or wireless high speed internet access for all your electronic devices. For those families working remote, you will appreciate all the USB ports available throughout the cabin, to charge your many devices and the granite top desk with lamp and USB ports located in the dining room. We also have paper, pens and other remote working items. Of course, you are always welcome to work on either of the two decks while enjoying the great outdoors or next to the gas fireplace with the remote in hand. You could also just take a break and make some s’mores on the fire pit on the deck while taking in the views. For a great night's sleep, the master bedroom includes a king size bed and a private bath with a new large curb-less walk-in shower and double sink vanity. It also features a 50” Smart TV for streaming and access to the private deck to enjoy your morning coffee while catching up on the world around you, watching the songbirds or just taking in all that nature has to offer. Our winter guest can also enjoy the heated mattress pad on both the king size beds for a cozy nights sleep. The second bedroom includes a king bed and a 43” Smart TV for streaming. The third bedroom has two twin beds. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee of $100, which is sent through the Resolution Center after booking. In order to prevent separation anxiety-induced damage from your usually well-behaved pets, we ask that you either take your pets with you or crate them when you are not going to be with them. We do live on the side of a mountain so please refrain from walking around the cabin as the grounds are uneven and falls could occur. Feel free to walk along driveway since it is relatively flat.

Other Details to Note

We have those little extras covered, like for those with allergies, we use MERV 13 air filters in the cabin that captures bacteria, fine dust, smoke, smog, dander, mold spores, allergens, and virus carriers. Pets are welcome with a $100 non-refundable pet fee. Pet Fee will be sent and collected via the Airbnb Resolution Center. In order to prevent separation anxiety-induced damage from your usually well-behaved pets, we ask that you either take your pets with you or crate them when you are not going to be with them. Pet owners are responsible for any damages done by their pets. Gates are installed both decks for those with pets but should not be left unattended on the decks.

One of the best Airbnb experiences for us in the recent years. Lisa's Bella Vita is a quaint and relaxing location to unwind. The place has been done with a lot of thought and small touches that make you stop and admire every now and then. We intended to use Lisa's place as our base to cover GSM, but left feeling that we should have spent more time at the house itself. We will certainly be coming back if we visit the region again.

Great place to stay! We stayed for a long weekend. When we decided to stay last minute for an extra day, Lisa was great working with us and very responsive. The home was clean and cozy and there was so much room. Our goldendoodle loved the toys that were provided at the house. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect for getting around the Maggie Valley and Waynesville area.

This place is just what we hoped for. We’ve stayed at a lot of cabins in the mountains over the years, and this one was top 3 for cleanliness and comfort easily! Place is immaculate. Everything is labeled. Bathrooms are clean and stocked with lots of towels and wash cloths. They even have extras of all the toiletries in case you forgot something. Tv is huge and worked well for a couple movies at night. Windows everywhere to let the light in. Big beautiful view off the deck. The drive up to the cabin once you get off the main road is steep, but it’s all paved and we had no trouble with our minivan :) lots of mostly untouched woods behind the house which our dogs loved. Many cute local eateries and shops. Every meal we had was great and the service was always friendly. What more could we ask for! :)

Lisa's place was just as described. We loved everything about the home. The beds were very comfortable. We loved cooking dinners in the kitchen, there was anything you could possibly need to fix a meal.

The house was better than described. Fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Lisa went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. It snowed close to a foot when we were visiting. Lisa communicated early on that her husband would be out plowing the driveway and road for us. We were able to get in and out without issue even with all of the snow on the ground.

A vehicle is needed to explore the surrounding area. You can always walk the mountain for a little exercise. There is plenty of room to park and turn around. Not too many cabins in the mountains have this.
